when printing Mathcad docs to PDF, they print as text error instead. We are using output from Mathcad 15 ver 50 to print PDF's using Adobe DC Reader. They are being converted to text error msg. See attachment. Has anybody seen this
I guess the message is clear. Adobe doesn't know the Calibri font, and possibly another font that it can't substitute.
Try 'Microsoft print to PDF'...(see also this thread: https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Mathcad/Area-diagonal-line/td-p/627158/jump-to/first-unread-message)
Success!

thanks for the response but that did not solve the problem. We are able to print PDF's to CutePDF without problem.
Hi,
Try this way (not sure success): close the worksheet and then reopen it; run the print preview and then print, after saving with the name of the pdf file. Or exit Mathcad and then re-open the file and follow the procedure described above. Otherwise those fonts, M15, "doesn't really digest them" !!!.
Try to reinstall "Mathcad PDSi viewable support" component (by Adobe Systems) from your Mathcad package.
Murph,
We've seen this a lot.
When the print panel comes up, select your Adobe PDF printer and then select Printer Properties.
There will be five check boxes on the Adobe PDF Settings tab. The middle one that says "Rely on system fonts only; do not use document fonts" should be unchecked. Otherwise you will get these text error messages.
You can also open print properties from the system Printers panel under system settings. Setting it there will make this the default so that you don't have to uncheck that box every time you print.
Good luck!
