Hi Developers,
I'm trying to add another tile to the PTC Factory Console Landing page like the Custom Plant Viewer in the image.
The tile should also redirect to my custom mashup. Is there a way to do this.
Thanks and Regards
Saran
Solved! Go to Solution.
Update the mashup link/URL in the PTC.FactoryConsole.Datatable for your newly added custom tile.
Please go through the customization guide for the detailed steps.

Hi @hrajpal,
We have successfully added a custom mashup to the console. Now we're trying to create a custom role and as per the guide we had followed the steps and we got the role reflecting in configure ans setup mashup.
The objective now is that the user under the custom role should see only certain mashups. For this we had added the custom role in the corresponding organizational units of "PTC.Factory.MachineVisibility". The user also was able to get the corresponding apps in his console page. But once he explores the App nothing comes up.
Example: Asset Advisor is the app which is visible to the user in the console page. When he opens it up no data is loading.
I had observed that the service invoke privilege was not given for some entities (e.g "Not authorized for ServiceInvoke on GetSortByValues in PTC.SCA.SCO.AssetMonitor.AssetList.AssetFiltersController"). So is there a service we can run to set the custom role privileges like the other roles.

Saran
Hi Saran,
The visibility is govern by the organization only . So you need to provide the visibility to each entity which is being invoked in the mashup.
