Has anyone observed the following problem and know a solution? Using Windows XP Pro (SP3) & Pro/Engineer Student Edition (M020) [Problem: Pro/ENGINEER doesn't display webpages from 'PTC' websites inside the application.] Everything else is apparently functioning normally. ProE starts satisfactorily, but the 'Common Folders' 'Browser' tab flashes PTC's homepage (http://www.ptc.com/index.htm) and then goes blank. The same holds true for 'Connections' folder tabs labeled 'Browser', 'User Area', 'PTC.com', and 'Customer Support' (respective assigned webpages display and then go blank). The only 'Connections' folder tabs that display correctly are '3DModelSpace' and 'User Group'. These are not PTC websites and are the only two that do display within the ProE application. Is this a possible clue to the problem? The 'Common Folders' briefly displayed 'Browser' tab 'PTC' webpage URL is http://www.ptc.com/community/resource_center/proengineer/index.htm. After this page displays momentarily and blanks, the activity line at the bottom of the browser page for the 'Common Folders' 'Browser' tab and the 'Connections' folder tabs 'Browser', 'User Area', 'PTC.com', and 'Customer Support' all start-off reporting: "Downloading picture http://ptc.112.2o7.net/b/ss/ptctotal/1/H.20.3/..." Everything after the last forward slash character is different for the 4 tabs that don't display. All the 'PTC' 'Connections' websites used to correctly display their respective URL webpages inside the ProE application. The URLs under the 'Connections' folder tab are as follows: 'Browser' -- http://www.ptc.com/community/resource_center/proengineer/index.htm '3DModelSpace' -- http://www.3dmodelspace.com/ptc 'User Area' -- http://www.ptc.com/community/index.htm 'User Group' -- http://www.ptcuser.org/ 'PTC.com' -- http://www.ptc.com/index.htm 'Customer Support' -- http://www.ptc.com/support/index.htm Only 2 of the 6 'Connections' folder tab items continuously display a webpage for their respective URL (inside the ProE application). These are '3DModelSpace' and 'User Group'. The other 4 display their respective webpage momentarily and then go blank. These 4 that blink are 'PTC' websites. In a separate Internet Explorer 8 browser (outside the ProE application) all 6 continuously display a webpage. Four (4) of these 6 URLs display their assigned respective webpage correctly. The other two, 'User Area' and 'PTC.com' display webpages but redirect to http://www.ptc.com/. In summary the main concern is how to get the websites to display in the ProE application (as they used to) and secondarily how to control (assign) what page on the respective websites are displayed initially when ProE application first opens.
