How do I select an edge for a distance mate after an angle offset? Creo 5.0

I have attached images below.

I'm trying to model a track for a garage door and the track is 1 inch away at the base of the door, and the track is at an angle of 1 degree. When I create the 1deg angle offset, it no longer allows me to create a distance constraint because it forces me to select two faces to do a distance mate. When I try to do that, it then over constrains my assembly because the distance mate wants the two faces to be perpendicular. All I need to be able to do is select the edge of the track as well as the face of the wood.

Does anyone have any suggestions to be able to mate this the way I am trying to?
