Hi all i think i already know the answer to the question.

Is there anyway of opening a Pro/Desktop des. file in Creo.

I know we used to be able to open them in earlier versions on Pro/E which I have done before and these files open on Creo.

Problem is the only version have of Pro/E is wildfire 5 and i don't have a licence file.

Not a problem normally but when I install and contact the PTC server to download the licence file it tells me that I have surpassed the amount of times I can download a licence file.

Any ideas for a quick solution.

Just want to open the models and re render them.

    Simon,

The license generating server was broken last week. If you want to, you should be able to generate a new license now.

After you open those files it might be a good idea to save them in Creo-Pro/E format.

    Simon,

For Pro/D files...you need to use Creo Elements/Pro or earlier to open the native file and save it as a Creo format file. Then you can open it in Creo.

    Thanks,
