proe trial version license

I bought a used proe book with 2 CDs attached supposedly a 6 month trial version from Amzon.com, I've loaded the CDs but when I tried to open it, it failed, error message says I do not have a license. My question is who gives and takes a license? PTC for sure, but is there a chance to get a license?

    What book did you buy? Which version of Pro/E is it for? Who is the author and publisher?

    the book I bought is Pro/ENGINEER WILDFIRE version 4.0, the author is LouisGary Lamit
