when a data table is created within a schematic via; generate report, and the drawing is checked in, the next time the drawing is checked out and the table is needed to revise then it is not possibble to open the table with the error "error<<<<< Unable to read table data file" despite the table being clearly visible/readable within the schematic,. If an old version schematic is opened (ie V4) then then upon opening in schematics (V10.0.0.0) it is possible to modify once. Bug alert!
are you referring to table on the sheet ?
do you see it only when working with windchill ? or also when saving to the disk ?
did you try to check in different design ?(maybe the design is corrupted) .... i don't face this issue in Creo Schematics 10.0.0 .
Yes our procedure is to check the drawing into windchill. It happens with every design (50 plus tested so far) this did not occur with schematics 4 or 7.
Hi Pwailand,
This is an issue that we found with WNCBridge RC16, we have an update WNCBridge RC16_11 that should resolve this issue.
Please contact me on kieran.gilhooley@virtual-interconnect.co.uk and we can setup a meeting to help.
Kind Regards,
Kieran
the table is non modifiable after checkin to windchill, this was not the case in creo schematics 4 or 7. Please fix the issue! many thanks!!!
upon trying to open the table the below message appears (this is repeatable for every drawing modified with schematics 10; 100+ drawings tested):
our team will load in a CSV file to detail a BOM for the harness design in our schematic, this still functions as per creo 4 & 7 the same and works in 10 too; howver now after retrival from windchill or if saved locally upon PC; with a cpu power cycle the table becomes non modifiable, with the above error displaying; try it and you shall see.
