CREO 3 won't start sony viao i7 4 gigs ram radeon graphics, no error messages?

Have  laptop (sony viao) with an i7 processor, 4 giigs of ram a radeon graphics card.  I install student version, no error messages for installation of program or licenses.  Program will not start, do not see any error messages and no std.out or std.err files are created.  Any suggestions?

Radeon cards are not officially supported.

Try setting your graphics to win_gdi in your config.pro.
