I am sure there are config settings influencing the speed and performance of larger assemblies and drawings that we don't really required at certain times.
I hope to find, or compile a list of settings influencing performance, especially calling up large assemblies and drawings, manipulating them, and also other performance issues I don't think about right now.
Let's see if we can get a list.

Marius, you might want to consider splitting this into two different discussions, one for drawing performance and another for assembly performance. These are two very different topics.
Here are a couple documents to start with for large assemblies:

Thank you for this.
Not all config settings are performance related, and I'm not sure which one's are.
Some are obvious but not all. I think specialist assistance might be a good idea.
Also experience would help in this case.
Any help regarding this would be appreciated.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a little symbol like a speedometer or lightning bolt to let you know which ones can have the greatest influence on speed. (A three speedometer setting - "large" vs a half of speedometer - "small").
Also nice idea.

Sure thing, thank you
What about settings for remoting into your work computer and working with Creo?
I read somewhere that these might help:
graphics=win32_gdi
I learned a little more about this, it depends on the type of remote desktop viewer you use. There are some out there, other than the one sent with Windows, that are OpenGL compliant and take advantage of the video cards.
