Configuration Creo 7.06 Hole, Specifications

Hello,

How (where) could I find in my configuration of hole the following specifications for a Kato hole?

The problem is you can find them in Creo but not in the Hole-configuration.

  1. (Core) Drilling depth DRILL_DEPTH

       2. Thread depth THREAD_DEPTH

       3. Thread length THREAD_LENGTH

Thanks, in advance.

Hi @WD_10959322,

Thank you for your question.

Your post appears well documented but has not yet received any response. I am replying to raise awareness. Hopefully, another community member will be able to help.

Also, feel free to add any additional information you think might be relevant. It sometimes helps to have screenshots to better understand what you are trying to do.

  • The hard coded predefined rules are :
    • DRILL_DEPTH = 3 x DRILL_DIAMETER
    • THREAD_DEPTH = DRILL_DEPTH / DEPTH_RATIO
    • DRILL_DIAMETER and DEPTH_RATIO are 2 values available in the .hol file

CS99906 - Is it possible to directly specify the "THREAD_DEPTH" or DRILL_DEPTH values in a .hol file in Creo Parametric (ptc.com)

Add thread depth and or drill depth to .hol hole f... - PTC Community
