After upgrading to Windows 10, our Creo / NCSimul workstations sometimes crash, when the users sign on the machine again, after they locked it. There is also an error message appearing (see attachement, Translation: "Attention - Connection to server not available! The Server is not available. Would you like to change into offline work mode?").
It seems, that the computers lose the connection to the Windchill server, while it is locked. After the reconnect (when the user signs on again), Creo somtimes crashes - the message can't get confirmed.
Sometimes you can confirm the message with "no" and you can work on...
With Windows 7, there were no problems.
The PDMLINK Server is working well, existent Windows 7 computers have no problems at all.
Creo Version: 4.0 M050
Windchill 10.2
Windows LTSC x64: 1803 or newer
Thank you in advance for your help!
Jona
EDIT:
It seems, that there is a hidden window behind the error message, which you have to close first (a user told me that). I try to reconstruct that.
Does anybody know this issue?
This seems to be due to communication with Windchill . IMO, you can contact PTC Support if have active maintenance.
