Fusions in assembly mode are not available anymore

Hi,

Since new config.pro have been installed, it's not possible anymore to make
assembly fusions.

Reason seems to be ''external reference''.

Does anyone knows what could generate this?

(A new option in config.pro I assume but which one ?)

Thanks,

GB

Are you talking about Merges or Inheritance features?

Check the option for default_ext_ref_scope; if that is set to none, then you can't use external references. It could be some other configuration options, but check for that one first.

Also, has your license configuration changed? Some external reference features require AAX, so if you're not picking up that license, that could also be the problem.

I am also confused with the word "fusion."

Are you referring to assembly merges and cutouts? If so what version of Pro/E (Creo Elements Pro whatever)?
