Using Model Check to control setting items to desired layers.
1. Have a layer called 2__DEF_CSYS & 2_ALL_CSYS
2. On layer 2__DEF_CSYS is the single default "F4(CSYS_PART_DEF)?
3. I have a config.pro setting that any newly created "csys" will
automatically be placed on layer 2_ALL_CSYS
4. Model Check is configured to move any ?CSYS?s? that are not on a
layer to the 2_ALL_CSYS layer
Scenario:
a. User creates a new Datum Coordinate ?F8(CS0)? which automatically
gets placed on the ?2_ALL_CSYS? layer
b. User runs Model Check with no errors, all csys?s are on layers
"F4(CSYS_PART_DEF)? is on 2__DEF_CSYS
?F8(CS0)? is on 2_ALL_CSYS
c. If the user for what ever reason removes a CSYS from the
2_ALL_CSYS layer, Model Check will want to put it back on the 2_ALL_CSYS
d. This is were the issue arises. Model Check sees that there is a
CSYS not on a layer and moves it to a layer, but it is also moving the
"F4(CSYS_PART_DEF)? from the 2__DEF_CSYS.
The default CSYS should remain on 2__DEF_CSYS. When Model Check is run
again it puts the "F4(CSYS_PART_DEF)? back on the default layer.
We have something similar setup for the datum?s that works with out an
issue
