Hi alls,
I'm using Creo parametric and usually install simulate just for lite module (dont have full licence).
So, when I double click on a part within Windows explorer, it's opened with Creo Simulate and, of course, I can't do anything because I don't have Creo Simulate.
How is it possible to install Parametric with Mechanica lite and setup opening .prt, and .asm with Parametric ?
Thanks,
Dominique
Hi,
unfortunately I do not know how to change (purely and simply) default application assigned to Creo parts by installation manager. This is because default application is not assigned to .prt extension. Instead of it it is assigned to .1, 2., ... numerical extensions. I think the simpliest way how to changer assignment is via Windows registry modification.
Suggestion: Launch Creo and drag&drop parts from Windows Explorer to Creo graphics window.
