Pro/Intralink connection thru VPN

I need help with my VPN connection. I saw the questions last week about
connecting thru a VPN and have tried those suggestions, but I still
can't connect.

I'm using Pro/Intralink 3.4 M020. I can make a good connection to our
server and can ping the Intralink server. When I try to start
Intralink, I click "Login" and insert my username and password and then
click "OK". This is where it locks up and doesn't go back to the
Intralink menu window or anything. I can do a ptcstatus check and it
shows that I have a license checked out. Has anyone else seen this and
do you have a fix for it?

I tried changing from the server name to the IP address and also setting
up the Hosts file. Neither one worked. It isn't just my computer. No
one else has been able to log in either. It works fine for the users
that are local.



I would appreciate any suggestions.

I forgot to mention that it was working fine with M011. I've also tried
shutting down my local firewall and virus scan. I'm wondering if it may
be an issue with M020. I put in a call to PTC and they said that they
didn't have any documentation to deal with VPN's.



Thanks to all who have offered suggestions so far. I'm going to try
them and see if they help.
