We are using Veeam backup to backup our Modeling Manager Server 19. Now an engineer lost a drawing and our support guy told us the only way to restore the drawing is restore the whole server. So here we go...
From the current server i renamed the Hyper-v vhdx file and pasted the restored vhdx.
Next i put the nessesary vm permissions on the vhdx and i boot it.
So far everything looks fine and i have the server up and running in old state under the old mac and ip.
Now when i start the Model Manager Client it gives communication failed, can some one guess what can cause this happening? My first guess is licensing on the same DB server, but is it? It is up and running and looks normal.
