Reverse Engineering Extension (REX) not variable - how to get the appropriate license?

I just downloaded and installed Creo Academic Edition Standard Single User. My choice to use Creo was based on the ability of Creo to perform Reverse engennering similar to the exmple at 20150516 from Facet data to Solid model by Creo 3.0 - YouTube. It seems that the educational licence does npt include REX. Is there a way to get an extension of the educational license?
