WF5 does not use Resolve Mode by default.
There's a new config.pro option: regen_failure_handling. The default value is no_resolve_mode. This lets you finish what you were doing and fix it later.
If you like the old way, you can set regen_failure_handling resolve_mode.
If you don't like to enable Resolve Mode for every Pro/E session, you can turn it on temporarily without editing the config.pro. Click the red stop light of the regen status icon to open the Regeneration Manager. Choose Preferences --> Failure Handling --> Resolve Mode. Then click the Regenerate button at the bottom of the Regeneration Manager.
(Aside: I couldn't figure out an easy way to stop using Resolve Mode after setting it from the Regeneration Manager. Seems you can't' get the Regeneration Manager unless you have a regen failure. But now if you have a regen failure, it throws you straight into Resolve Mode. I ended up monkeying with the config.pro settings for the Current Session, turning Resolve Model on, then off again. Surely there's a better way?)
