Summary: Detect Windows Version in a Batch File

I should have Googled harder. I had looked around some, but didn't find
any good resources. Right after ending the Q, I searched some more and
found this gem:

Thanks for re-posting with that information. I''ve been looking for a clean way to make that determination so I could incorporate it in some of my batch files.
