When zooming in Creo Parametric 10.0.5 the text turns into squares. The more I zoom in the more characters turn into squares. Collegues do not have this problem. How do i fix this?
I haven't seen this directly but we have long had an issue where sometimes in a drawing, some of the symbols end up printing as a square. The answer in those cases is to go into the detail options and checking the symbol_font setting. We get squares when they are set to Legacy, so we set them to Stroked_ASME because we don't use a True-Type font and if we just used ASME the symbols come out bold compared to our other text. If you use a TTF then you might want to set it to ASME. If you are outside the U.S. then you probably would use Stroked_ISO or ISO.
I have been able to replicate the problem on my colleague's computer. the problem starts after zooming in very fast.
Maybe its a bug from the high resolution or something?
I have also run into this issue a lot, same thing, zooming in rapidly or a lot of times will slowly change all text to squares. What I found interesting is that when I print to PDF a sheet it prints correctly (no squares). so it has something to do with how the text is being rendered in session? I am using a 4k monitor if it does actually end up being from high resolution...
