Transfer UNIX to DOS (Windows)

Hi to all Actually i receive some ProE files from a customer who is working with UNIX operative system. I'm trying to open these files on windows platform but ProE sent me an alert that i need to use a binary method of transference. Does someone can help me with this?? Regards

It's the same file no matter what platform your on. What it's probably talking about is the "binary" mode of file transfer through FTP.
