Quickie... What is the config.pro option that controls the window size
that Pro/E opens with?

You'll want to be setting windows_scale and reserved_menu_space

I'm not familiar with the two options that Iain mentioned, but setting open_window_maximized to yes will maximize the Pro/E session when you open Pro/E. All subsequent windows opened after that will also open maximized.

Just in case this is the one you were asking about.
