ptcflush command

Hi all

Does anybody know if it is possible to determine which user has used the ptcflush command?

Some of our users would experience licence drops but all our licences are floating from a triad arrangement so my thoughts are that if one user loses connectivity to the the licence server then all users should. Since this is not the case the only other thing I can think of is that another user is using the ptcflush command to free up a licence so that they can get it.

I would be interested to hear what the wider community thinks...

Thanks

Neal

I hate to admit I have done that in the past. I would go look at all the users and figure out who had 2 or 3 licenses pulled and flush one of theirs. I'm glad we have plenty of licenses now.

But no, I don't know if you can determine which user flushed. I suspect you can't.

Have you already had a look in the logfile, which is usually defined for every daemon?

There's quite a lot information - maybe also if somebodey used ptcflush.

Best regards, Domenic
