Bar Graph - Reference Line

According to this https://support.ptc.com/help/thingworx/platform/r9/en/index.html#page/ThingWorx/Help/Mashup_Builder/Widgets/AddingReferenceLinesToAChart.html# I can add a reference line to a Bar Chart. I do not see this property on my bar graph widget:

Hi @LP_10027711.

You first have to indicate the number of reference lines in the NumberofReferenceLines property--it defaults to 0.  Then the reference line properties will appear.

I have Thingworx v 9.1, according to this i need v 9.2. please confirm that is the case? if so, is there a way to just update the widget extension?

Yes, reference lines were added in 9.2--see the 9.2 What's New page.  Backporting an extension isn't supported.

If you're considering an upgrade, I recommend moving to the latest release of 9.3.1.  The documentation for upgrading can be found here:

Installer Upgrade

When performing an upgrade, best practices dictate the following steps occur prior to upgrade to ensure recovery if issues occur:

• Shut down ThingWorx
• Create a snapshot of the app server
• Create a db export
• Restart ThingWorx
• Update a non-prod environment prior to upgrading prod.  If possible refresh the non-prod environment with prod data
• Perform a regression test following the non-prod upgrade to identify any changes needed as a result of the upgrade
• Document all steps and determine timings
