Error when trying to create Resource class in Eclipse IDE

When using the "New Thingworx Class" wizard to create a "New Resource" an error message stating
"Please choose a valid Superclass - Class is not instance of: com.thingworx.resources.Resource" is displayed and the class cannot be created. This project uses ANT, I have been unsuccessful using Gradle in Eclipse projects. I have seen the CS376544 solution but this only address Gradle.

Any advice is appreciated.

TIA!

Hi VladimirN,
I saw this post as well but am still unable to resolve the issue.

I an unable to implement the combination referenced in the "Thingworx Extension - Create Resource Error" issue.

  • Eclipse 2019-12 (4.14.0) <- This version has been installed
  • JAVA - jdk-11.0.15 <- the closest version i was able to use is 11.0.16

  • Thingworx 9.1 SDK <- PTC Software download page does not provide a version lower than/before  9.3.0

You posted the same question two weeks ago here: https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/Thingworx-Extension-Create-Resource-Error/m-p/966392 , but did not reply on the answer.
