Facing an error while importing build to Thingworx: some jar files are missing

Hello guys,

I am following Create Extensions w/ Eclipse Tutorial from Thingworx Dashboard to create a weather mashup using Eclipse code. I have created the build using Gradle STE and importing the build to Thingworx, while validating the build it showing like some jar files are missing. But I am not finding any missing jar files. Can anyone help me to resolve the issue ?

Is their any jar file that you imported in your project which is not part of the ThingWorx extension SDK?

Also, check for more errors in Application logs.

Hi Ankit Gupta,

I have added json-simple-1.1.1.jar, httpclient-4.5.2.jar, httpcore-4.4.5.jar and commons-logging-1.2.jar files in the project. In the tutorial add httpclient-4.5.2.jar file but the EclipsePlugin.zip provided by Thingworx existed with httpclient-4.5.1.jar.

Is this face any issue ?

Can you please open the extension zip to see if these external jars are included in the zip?

Hemant, This seems correct. Is the SDK version same as ThingWorx version?

Please share your extension here so that I can try to test it on my local instance.

Thanks for your good response on my issue.

Yes I am using the Thingworx development 30 days trail version of 7.2.1 - b71. The SDK I am using is 7.2.0 version.

But I have installed Thingworx 7.1.1 in my machine but I didn't find any related SDK, Eclipse Plugin for Thingworx Extension.
