How to customize Software Content Management Utility

I would like to customize the Software Content Management utility. Is there any documentation describing how this can be done?

E.g. I would like to edit some of the standard mashups of the SCM and create custom ones.

Hi,

let me give you two examples:

Use Case 1:

Let's say I want to remove the options Deployments -> Track, Compliance -> Purge from the left sidebar menu (see screenshot). I also want to rename Packages -> PUBLISH to RELEASE.

Use Case 2:

In Package -> Create package, I need a new property "Region" for the package. Each package should be associated with a region.

Is it possible to customize the Software Content Management Utility? If yes, is there a document guide explaining how to customize it?
