How to receive data from Remote Thing

Hi,

Can I call Get http api /Things/{ThingName}/Properties/{MyProperty} of Remote Thing(connected to thingworx server) to receive data change of MyProperty??

Actually I am not able to receive this. For this I have created a local thing and bind the property and called the api of local thing than able to receive.

Is this is the only way to receive data from remote thing??

appears to be duplicate of Properties of Remote Thing data change value through Rest API
