How to return data from new navigation function

Hi,

How do i need to return data from another mashup (modal popup) with the new navigation function in TW8.5?

By using the navigation widget the variables are shown in the properties, but there is no property section in the new navigation function.

I can only bind data to the mashup in the "Mashup Parameters section", but i can not get data from the mashup.

All the parameters have a two way binding.

Hi Nick,

You can try creating the session parameters instead of Mashup Parameters. These Session parameters can be accessed in both of your mashups.

I'm having the same issue, but I don't think your answer will do the trick. 

Using session parameters just to pass data from you popup to you main mashup in a big application will slow down you app for no reason, since you might have 100+ session parameters. 

Will this new navigation function be fixed in a next release? Or will we have to use the old Navigation widget?

Hi,

New navigation function will be fixed in 8.5.3 release that should be released in Q1 2020.
