Installing Thingworx Analytics

Installing Thingworx Analytics

Hi,

I am trying to install Thingworx Analytics. The installation stalls at some point. I think it is when it tries and installs ThingWorx Analytics - Analytics Worker

This is the message from the install.log

 

[11:17:59] - Started installing ThingWorx Analytics - Analytics Worker...

 

I have Windows 7 Enterprise.

Hi @k_ibrahem

 

There is something that can save you a lot of time when you have questions or error messages , it is to search the PTC Knowledge base. You can access it from http://support.ptc.com  In the middle of the page you have a big green search bar titled Search the Knowledge Base.

Here if you simply enter what you saw in the log: "Started installing ThingWorx Analytics - Analytics Worker", you will find the article https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article?n=CS287459 which should resolve your issue.

 

In this way you can find the answer immediately and move forward with your project.

I hope you will enjoy it in the future.

Hello,

 

Thank you for posting your question to this board.

 

I see you are having issues installing ThingWorx Analytics Server to Windows 7.

 

What version of ThingWorx Analytics are you attempting to deploy?

 

Please review the system requirements guide page 3, as Windows 7 is not a supported Operating System for 8.2 and 8.3
