Hi,
We want to add entities to a project but we can´t. We get an error when we try to add a thing to the project in the entities area.
This is the error:
[L: ERROR] [O: c.t.s.a.AuthenticationFilter] [I: ] [U:] [S: ] [P: ] [T: https-jsse-nio-443-exec-3] Servlet execution threw an exception
But we can change the project if we edit the thing with the same user.
We are using 9.1.3 version.
Does anybody know what could be the cause of this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
Yes, we have restarted Thingworx but we get the same error.
Hi,
This error was encountered by users earlier:
Hi,
The error is the same, but I think that is not the same cause.
We are not using MSSQL JDBC extension. Our database is postgresql
We get the error when we add a thing to a project in entities area and save the project in composer. We don´t execute any sql type service...
Hello @aetxeberria
Can you pls follow these steps:
Would you be able to perform the following tests:
* Can you try the same operation using the Administrator user, or a user member of the Administrators group ?
* If still issue, could you do the following:
then share the trace level logs with me.
Regards
Bhawna
The user that we are using is a member of Administrator group.
I attach a file with trace level logs...The user is ainhoa, and there are 2 errors.

2022-04-07 12:02:14.883+0200 [L: ERROR] [O: c.t.w.Projects] [I: ] [U: ainhoa] [S: ] [P: ] [T: https-jsse-nio-443-exec-7] Can not update project name for [PTC.Factory.C_LaunchPointConfigurationThing_9.1.1_00 : Thing]
When we try to save the project, Thingworx asks for login again and then we get the error.
We haven't try to change PTC.Factory.C_LaunchPointConfigurationThing_9.1.1_00 thing's project. It was another thing...PTC.Factory.C_LaunchPointConfigurationThing_9.1.1_00 already has set the project....
Thank you.
Hello @aetxeberria ,
I have checked the errors (ErrorState_DeviceInError and Servlet execution threw an exception) and it may occur because of the alloted memory to the tomcat. So can you pls check the following article for your reference:
https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/CS227284
Revert back if this doesnt resolve your issue.
