What thing template to use for connection to ext database

Do anyone now what is the differences between the Database thing template and the MSSqlServer thing template?

We are using Thingworx 9.3.9.

Here, only "Database" thing template available. 

I hope, both are same.

Hi @STullberg.

You'll want to use the Database thing template.  It contains the logic for connecting to a JDBC database including SQL Server.  There is no MSSqlServer thing template.  I think you have it confused with the SQLThing thing template.

Okay then the Database thing is the default/main thing template to use. I am guessing that the MSSqlServer thing template is a custom deployed to our environment via a extension. Thank you for the help.
