cant install Data Export Extension plugin

I tried to install Data Export Extension plugin in thingworx 8.4, got from marketplace but cant installed it. it gives error. screenshots as follow.

Are you pointing it to the actual zip file.

since it is saying it can't find the metadata file you can check the zip file make sure metadata.xml is in it.

I found that Zip file should be extracted which contains extension inside it. but tried to install extesion.zip file inside it got these errors.

Looks like the extension needs to be updated for 8.4?

I was trying to install this plugin to export data table in excel format. is there any other way to export data table data in same format of its own data shape..?

OOTB you can export the data to CSV using either Accept text/csv

or the Data Export widget that comes standard.
