modify the ID of a button in Thingworx?

Is there a way to modify the button ID in Thingworx without exporting the mashup and changing it in the xml?

Robert, did you mean the ContextId? That can't be modified through the Composer.

I actually meant the ID, but in your reply were you referring to the ContextID or the ID? Essentially there are no ways for me to change the ContextID and/or the ID in the composer is that correct?

You cannot change the ID, but for the ContextID - you may feed string to/from it by binding to a service or another widget (i.e, binding a textbox output to the input of the ContextID of a button)
