Importing PVI files into Creo Illustrate

I have the pvz and thus the PVI files for the model I want to use.

However, I do not have the C3di files for the sequences in question, and would like to add additional sequences to the pvz in Creo Illustrate.

Is there a way to import those pvi files into Illustrate and expand on that work?

Hello,

I have a look in Creo Illustrate and I didn't find a way to import pvi files into a C3di file.

Normally .pvi files are embedded in pvz files.

A pvz file is a zip file, and pvi files are in the root of this pvz archive file.

So, the only hacky solution is to :

  1. Backup pvz and pvi files
  2. Open pvz file with a zip unpacker and packer as 7-zip
  3. Put inside it on the root, the pvi file
  4. Save
  5. Import this pvz file in Creo Illustrate.

Best regards,

Samuel

Unfortunately that doesn't import the sequences into the Illustrate file.

That method essentially is no different than just importing the root PVZ file.

YOu can't import PVI animation or sequences in Illustrate.
