Automatic Dimensioning of Template views

I have a dwg. template file set up to add the dimensions to the dwg. views when they are created. However when these dimensions are put on the dwg. they do not reflect the configuration settings that I have for items such as dec. places, nominal tol., etc.. If I add dimensions manually they go in per the configuration settings. When I go into the template file and dimension geometry it reflects my configuration settings as well. Is there a configuration setting somewhere telling the template what to use whe automatically dimensioning the view? This also happens if I do show dimensions within the dwg. veiws.

Hi Tim, Don't know if this will help you but I had a similar problem a few days ago: http://www.ptc.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5286 Best regards! JVidal

Jose, Thanks for the reply. How do I re-apply the .dtl file? I went to File-Properties-Drawing Options. I then opened my .dtl file but the "Apply" button in the options pallet is not selectable. Thanks,

Hi Tim, I believe you're doing it right. If the apply button is not selectable that's probably because you already have the latest DTL file applied. Try to add the following option to your config.pro file if you haven't done so already: drawing_setup_file "path to your dtl file" Best regards! JVidal
