Benefits of using embedded datums

To All,

I am trying to put together some information for my users about using embedded datums in their models and am drawing a blank on why they are a benefit vs. using regular datums before the feature is created....any suggestions would be helpful....thanks in advance...

Typically you would use an embedded datum if the datum only relates to the feature it is embedded within. That way it is easier to locate and doesn't clutter the model tree.
