Is it possible to insert a datum point into and existing datum point feature?

I am making sweeps and swept blends using datum points then creating a curve through those points then sweeping along that curve.

 

The datum points exist as one feature, Is it possible to edit the feature to insert a point at the start or halfway down the list? I'd like to add a point after point 7 in the screenshot

Currently I only seem to be able to add a point at the end of the list.

I'm using creo 8.0

Unfortunately, there is no way to insert or rearrange the points in a Datum Point feature.  Additions need to be made at the end.  I would vote for an idea to add this functionality.

Added points are always at the end.  Then, in the curve feature you can RMB on the point feature and select Convert to Points to expant the point feature.  Then you can move the added point up in the feature.

If you have a need to modify the points, I suggest using offset csys datum point creation. This will enable more flexibility in editing the points used. If you import the points from file, then you can edit the file using a text editor an read it in as updates are required. This does not guarantee that your curves will regenerate but if you are deliberate with design intent in your models then you can in theory read in an updated points file and have the curve update.
