Creo4 and mapkeys

Can anyone point me to documentation on how the mapkeys changed to get a better understanding?

  • I am specifically interested in difference between Creo2 & Creo4.

More details:

  • Upgrading from Creo2 to Creo4, I have noticed that they way mapkeys are recorded has changed.  Although most mapkeys work from Creo2, when creating mapkeys they are recorded differently in the text file, which influences how they are played back.  For example, they are now recording individual key strokes quite differently than they used to, and seem to have large numbers designating something when you click somewhere.  It seems a lot more confusing to edit.  This also makes it more difficult to record certain keyboard entries and then change it later...at least for certain mapkeys.

Thanks! Lawrence

The best thing to do is to insert text using the property dialog box or using insert from file.

Hi,

as far as I know ... no documentation concerning mapkey coding is available. You can apply "method of trial and error" :). You can also publish your mapkey here and hope that someone will help you.
