insert mode fail

Did you set your features as read only? You need to remove read only on your features.

I think this is the right answer  from old filles proe and convert to new creo 4.0

 " DO you mean (in 2001) FEATURE --> INSERT MODE --> ACTIVATE?

and FEATURE --> INSERT MODE --> CANCEL?

You will still need to resume features etc to get back down the model tree.

I guess your file is from very old version. Regenerate all the features by either using model player or redefine the 1st feature. Try insert feature after that .

another problem is the cad fall on modelcheck and it is hard to repair in same mode

It was made mirror with features and this is reason for insert in block
