Hi,
is it possible to get the calculation (variables) behind the value of a reference dimension?
e.g. i got a house as drawing model and want to measure length h3 (thus h3 = h1 + h2). Creo is returning the absolute value... e.g. h3 = 100 but I would like to get "h3 = h1 + h2".
regards and thank you in advance
Luis,
in Creo 2.0 you can get this result:
Dimensions on the right side are model dimension, which were renamed. When you display their properties, you will get:
Dimension on the left side is drawing dimension. When you display its properties, you will get:
Model & drawing is also attached.

HeyMartin,
did you do this manually by hand or did creo it automatically?
Luis
Luis,
all changes marked by red "ovals" were done manually.

Martin,
do you know if the last red "oval" is also automatically possible (the calculation "h3 = h1 + h2" doesnt neccssarily have to be displayed)
Luis
Luis,
in case of drawing dimension on the left side, you can set @S on Display tab and set h3 in Name field on Properties tab. This method is used in case of h1 and h2 dimensions.
