where is the Shaft feature in Creo 2.0

where is the Shaft feature in Creo 2.0

Insert > Advanced > Shaft in ProE Wildfire 5 for the On Point placement option.

I wonder where it is in Creo 2.0

It's not in the ribbon. You need to customize the ribbon (look under "Commands Not in the Ribbon") or to use the command search tool

Hi Jack, can you please brief what this SHAFT command does?

This SHAFT commond is similar to HOLE, but in opposite way. you can use Sketcher of SHAFT to draw a shaft profile (similar to sink hole profile), it is a good way to add feature to UDF'S.

Can you apply this command to an assembly?

I never tried but I expect you can't. The reason for that is that shaft it is a command that "add" material to the model, while in assemblies you can only remove material.

I was just checking in follow up to a previous post that I had where a tube it pierce and the material is "moved". Which in modeling would most like be a feature that I was add and then subtract the middle.
