How to calculate angle of twist in simulation?

I want to calculate the torsional stiffness for my design, So for that I have to determine the value of angle of twist in simulation. Can anyone tell me the procedure to calculate the torsional stiffness or angle of twist in creo simulation.

Hi @PK_12801466

Thank you for your question!

I’d like to recommend to bring more details and context to your initial inquiry, such as:

  • Have you already set up a simulation in Creo for your design? If so, what steps have you taken so far?
  • Are you encountering any specific issues or errors when trying to determine the angle of twist?

Please add screenshot(s) to better understand what you are trying to do in your process.

Please refer to this guideline to make your questions more likely to receive a quick and useful answer.

Hi @PK_12801466

I'm not sure if there is a direct way to meet your needs. Allow me to suggest a process using Creo Simulate:

  1. Run simulation
  2. In the deformation simulation view (without scaling), export the result to VRML file type.
  3. Import the VRML file into your model (Facet).

When you have the two, you can perform relative measurements on them.
