64-bit Wildfire 2.0 on Windows 7 64-bit

I posted this to the Admin group but didn't get any solutions so I figured I'd try the general group.

Has anyone successfully installed and run the 64-bit version of Wildfire 2.0 on 64-bit Windows 7? Getting the 32-bit version of Wildfire 2.0 to run on Win7x64 wasn't actually that hard with some help from some information I found on the web but the 64-bit version won't seem to run. I couldn't get the x64 setup.exe to run on Win7 so I first installed it on an XPx64 and it installed and ran fine, even integrated with Intralink 3.4 M050. Then I copied the installation to the Win7x64 machine and ran ptcsetup.bat to set the environment variables and all seemed well. Unfortunately when I tried to start Wildfire 2.0 all I get is a brief command window flash and then nothing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mark,

Myself and a colleague are attempting the exact same thing, and having the exact same results. Very frustrating! In our case it doesn't have to integrate with Pro/I (of any version), but we still have some need to run the older version. If you should find a solution, please let me know; I will do likewise.
