J-Link and editing a pattern table.

I would like to confirm that this is possible.

I have a pattern of datum points (defined as offsets from a spherical coordinate system). The pattern is in a table.

Is it possible using J-Link to edit this pattern table? Change coordinates as well as add pattern members with new values?

FYI, I will be reading these values from a text file located on our network...

Has anyone done this or similar and would you be willing to share your code?

I think that this possible with Toolkit only and not with one of the PFC
APIs like Weblink, VB and Jlink.

Perhaps it is possible to write a mapkey that is able to re-read your
external file. But I think there is no method in Jlink that?s able to edit a
pattern table to change values or add/remove members.

It is possible to edit dimension value through J-Link, so you can edit
existing points in the pattern. But you will not be able to add new
points.
I have a J-Link utility that reads in a point pattern table by creating
the .pts file and then ends with defining a macro that will read in the
file after the utility has ended.

It is not possible to edit the patter table directly but you can import a point file and change the dimensions.
