Adjusting number of decimal places displayed in template tables

All,

I have a quick query for you all, regarding the number of decimal places displayed in a table in a drawing template. A little background: we utilize UDFs and a drawing template to automatically generate a point cloud fromour CAD models,which is then utilized by manufacturing to determine the angle and trajectoryfor automated grinders. The default number of decimal places displayed in these tables is insufficient to provide accurate enough data points for the grinders, and as a result, engineers are currently having to reformat them manually to display additional decimal places.

I would like to update these templates to automatically display the desired number of decimal places in the tables. If someone could help me locate the parameter or .DTL file that controls this, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks!

Jason,

Just add [.X] behind the dimension in the table.
Where X is the number of decimal places you want to show. .2 = two decimal places .4 = 4 decimal places, etc...

BTW, I own several Benchmades, great knives!

Hi

I'm familiar with the parameter model_name, which we use in drawings
using the syntax &model_name

Can this parameter be accessed inside a part relation.

What is the syntax to use it?

Thanks

Mark

Fisher & Paykel design starts with you in mind, check out the people and passion behind every Fisher & Paykel product.

Just don't use the "&" in front when you are in the relations.

Hope this helps,
