Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0 trial does not have full functionality

The trial version for Mathcad Prime 9.0.0.0 states that it has full functionality for 30 days. However, as I am using it, there are several functions that are unavailable to me. They even state "Note: This premium feature will be disabled after the 30-day, full functionality license expires. To use this and other premium features, please upgrade to a full license using the 'Upgrade' button. Specifically, I am trying to test out the excel embed functions within Prime as a long time Mathcad 15 user and this is not available to me to be able to do an evaluation. All buttons are greyed out and even converting old sheets over to Prime does not allow for the use of excel.

You apparently installed Prime 9. But did you also request a trial license, receive it and activate it?

If not: go to the main menu (M in a circle, upper left corner), then choose "Options", select the 'License' tab and hit the "Get license" button.

Yes, I received an email with the license file and have installed it. Still do not have full functionality. See screenshots below showing license is valid and active, but still do not have full functionality.

I suppose the mean() function works for you, as in:

In that case you have 'full functionality'.

This is what happens in Express prime:

As to why it doesn't let you insert an excel component, I don't know. I don't use it. Here's a screenshot of my fully functional Prime 8:

Maybe Prime did not find a supported version of Excel on my machine. (my Excel is pretty old)..

Here's some info:

So the question is: What's your version of MsExcel?

As i know in trial versions of software, certain features or functionalities may be restricted or disabled until you upgrade to the full version or purchase a license. It appears that the Excel embed functions you are trying to test out are part of the premium features that require a full license. If you require the Excel embed functionality for your evaluation, it might be worth reaching out to the Mathcad support team or visiting their official website to inquire about specific trial limitations or to clarify any issues you are encountering. They should be able to provide you with more accurate and up-to-date information regarding the trial version's functionality and restrictions.

The 30-day trial has all of the capabilities as a fully paid licence.

The Excel Component absolutely works in the trial. See this video:
