Prime 4.0 does not run anymore

I have installed the software prime 4.0
that doesn't work from one day to another.
because I had to work on an existing document for a hand over, I installed a trial version.
Now I want to use my prime 4.0 again and need help how I can handle the problem.
I can see the start screen with ptc logo and so on but then nothing happens.
