Hi Everyone,
I'm having problems again with an assignment on modeling a compressor system ( details given in the attachment)
Given the following data on various components of the system;
AC supply - 415V, 3-Phase, 50Hz
Motor - 6-ploe, lap-wound separately-excited
- Ra=0.2Ohms, Rf=200Ohms
- Mechanical Efficiency = 95%
-k mag=0.2Wb/A
- Ia=80A at full Volts (0deg firing angle) Assuming Ia varies in proportion with E
- Number of conductors 720
Gearbox - Gear ratio = 3:1
- Efficiency = 92%
Compressor - Efficiency 90%
- 2 cylinder each with bore of 200mm
- Stroke/Bore ratio is 1.9:1
- Intake at atmospheric condition of 1.013bar and 15degC
- R=287(Nm/kgK) n=1.35
For rectifier firing angles from 0deg to 60deg, determine:
- motor speed and output torque
- compressor mass flow rate
- compressor output temperature and pressure
Use plots to show the variation of these with firing angle of the rectifier.
A worksheet would be much more useful.
