I am using MathCAD 15 and would like to use excel as a component. The excel worksheet is 2010 with macro's. This will allow me to integrate the calucation done in MathCAD with the other program. The other program in OrcaFlex used analyze underwater mooring and cable systems. Your support is appreciated. David Tg

What are the Macro's used for?

I assume OrcaFlex can handle multiple inputs?

Mathcad 15 currently supports up to Excel 2007, but not yet Excel 2010. Save your Excel sheet back down to 2007.

You haven't said what you want to achieve by placing the Excel sheet into Mathcad. It seems that a lot of time has gone into the Excel sheet so why would you want it in Mathcad?

Mona,
I have no issue's using Excel components and don't have Excel 2010

The excel worksheet is provided with OrcaFlex. It is used for pre and post processing. It is easier to calculate some many of the physical properties in MathCAD and output them to the excel work sheet. The excel worksheet is mainly for organizing the input and output data. Where you able to get the MathCAD file I attached to work with the excel workbook. Thanks David Tg

Yes, I downloaded the file but there was no interaction between Excel and Mathcad. If you are trying to pass results to an Excel worksheet I have a few functions which can achieve this.
If you are trying to call data or an excel component into Mathcad, well that's easy because Mathcad has built in features to deal with this.

Mike,
Thanks for the support. I looked closer to my MathCAD worksheet and found an error (spelling) and now it works. Surprise, surprise.
Thanks David Tg
